11313 Director- Finance & Accounting, Biotech Manufacturing Job

Location: NJ-Other   NJ- Parsippany
Mid-Atlantic (DE, DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA & WV)
Salary Range: 150,000 - 175,000
Total Compensation: 175,000 - 210,000
Job Description: Responsibilities • Individual will support manufacturing site senior management in daily operations and special projects. This position is a key member of the manufacturing site management team for the site. • Individual is responsible for ensuring that all three manufacturing sites follow consistent accounting standards. Will challenge these standards as appropriate and develop recommendations as needed. • Individual is responsible for the execution cost accounting standards/policies company has adopted. This includes ensuring that the cost accounting manual is relevant/updated, standard costs are adequate and appropriately reflect actuals, develop/maintain the appropriate indirect cost structure. • Individual is responsible for actively working with supply operations, clinical manufacturing and other relevant departments in ensuring that contracts are entered into are cost efficient and are properly reflected in Oracle as well as in the cost accounting assumptions. • Individual will work with Corporate Finance for all site analytical cost accounting forecasts, analyses. • Management responsibility for the timeliness and accuracy of the relevant site accounting function including variance reporting, reserve analysis, and relevant accounting. • Management responsibility for the relevant manufacturing facility internal control structure. • Responsible for the supervision/mentoring of the site accounting staff. • Special projects as assigned.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, None, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications; • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent. • Minimum of 10+ years related experience • Typically 5+ years directly supporting manufacturing facility/division senior management and contributing toward the development of department and division/facility strategy • Typically 5+ years experience managing supervisory personnel • Biotech or pharma experience desirable • Proficient in MS Office applications. • CPA Certification and/or MBA desired.
