8277 VP Sales - Fund of Fund Job

Location: PA-Philadelphia  
Mid-Atlantic (DE, DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA & WV)
Salary Range: 150,000 - 150,000
Total Compensation: 300,000 - 300,000
Job Description: This person will target institutional clients (endowments, foundations, non-Erisa pensions, consultants OR family offices/ultra high net worth individuals in order to raise capital for fund of funds. Will be responsible for Midwest (Chicago/Detroit down to Texas). We need someone who knows how to market to the investment management industry to help grow our firm. This person will serve existing clients over the phone, set up marketing meetings and conference calls for discussions with our PM. Eventually you will be setting up marketing one-on-ones in client offices. This person will report to and work very closely with the founder and CEO of the company.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree, None, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: -Strong knowledge of financial markets and portfolio theory -Identify new client prospects, set up and manage meetings -7-10 years of marketing communications experience within the asset management industry -Must have relationships with endowments, foundations, non ERISA pensions and their consultants in the Midwest region OR -Must have relationships with family offices or ultra high net worth individuals in the MidWest region -Co-ordinate RFP’s, due diligence questionnaires, and client letters -Significant travel (15-25%) -Excellent writing skills with attention to detail -Understanding of investments from a statistical, performance, and investment strategy standpoint. -Basic understanding of hedge funds and real assets -BA/BS with superior academic skills, MBA, CFA pluses.
