| Position Responsibilities: |
SUMMARY: Our client, a well regarded asset management firm with over $17B in AUM, has consistently met a variety of investment and risk management needs for a diverse client base. The firm has more than 6,000 accounts and provides a full range of asset management services for Taft-Hartley plans, corporate retirement plans, endowments, foundations, individuals and public funds spread across all 50 states. The Life Cycle Funds Marketing Specialist will develop, integrate and implement an innovative and comprehensive industry-leading life cycle funds marketing strategy consistent with the firm’s overall marketing efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1) Design and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy for the firm’s life cycle fund products.
2) Translate the needs of the sales force into the development of brochures, fact sheets, presentation materials and other marketing pieces. Must be able to distinguish and develop marketing strategies for multiple distribution channels (direct and third party) and design materials appropriately.
3) Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory issues and product developments to maintain in-depth knowledge of the life cycle fund marketplace and the firm's fund offerings.
4) Create and execute a high frequency publishing initiative combining life cycle fund market research with firm's product knowledge to further firm's competitive positioning.
5) Coordinate the maintenance of the firm's life cycle and other firm websites, ensuring the design and content of the website are up to date and reflective of new industry and product developments with respect to the firm’s life cycle offerings.
6) Work with the VP-Fund Distribution and others to develop conference strategies, including speaking engagements for key management and all aspects of conference exhibitions.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
1) Bachelor's Degree.
2) 5-10 year successful track record as a marketing professional in the 401(k) or mutual fund industry.
3) Working knowledge of the 401(k) marketplace, investments and mutual funds and investment marketing.
4) Demonstration of strong written and oral communication skills.
5) Innovative, creative and detail-oriented. |
