| Position Responsibilities: |
SBR, Inc., Nashville’s largest retained search firm (Nashville Business Journal, 2003-2008) is conducting a search for seasoned finance professionals. This is an excellent alternative career path for very analytical individuals with the desire to move into a highly visible role with a multi-billion dollar Nashville based company.
Responsible for the procurement of commodity based materials while ensuring that all field stores and locations are continuously supplied with the best specified products and/or services at the best possible cost. The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager will actively manage supplier selection, contract negotiation and supplier qualification.
Principal accountabilities include forecasting and analysis of market and category trends, remain knowledgeable of changes/trends in the commodity market, the development and implementation of strategic sourcing &/or purchasing strategies for the assigned categories. As the company’s expert for his/her assigned category, the Manager of Strategic Sourcing will use strong negotiating skills to manage supplier performance, agreements and relationships. The Manager will lead dedicated staff members and develop as a contributing member of the strategic sourcing department and a variety of cross-functional teams to mange cost, accurate forecast needs/products, cost/expense and . Significant interface with corporate finance, planning and analysis, product development & home office operations.

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor's degree & 3+ years of experience with any of the following: finance, accounting, purchasing(with a large public company) or supply and/or sourcing management. Strong communication and negotiation skills. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
MBA or CPM with 3+ years experience as a financial analyst or buyer with a large publicly traded company managing multi-million dollar categories. |
