| Position Responsibilities: |
Opening is due to promotion. Expanding multi-plant, make-to-order division of a global NYSE-listed corporation whose stock has multiplied 12 times in last ten years. OPPORTUNITY: Located just northwest of Boston is a world class manufacturing center of excellence. Supervise 2 and communicate directly with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and IT on process improvements, demand forecasts, and key priorities within a setting that supports “best practices”. Be empowered to improve business efficiencies, reduce cost, and increase productivity. Key responsibilities include:
• Insure the accuracy of the general ledger that will include intercompany and international accounting
• Manage the daily operations of receivables, collections, payables, payroll, and inventory
• Prepare consolidated financial summaries and business metrics using Excel and Hyperion
• Be involved with operational accounting including bills of material, PPV, manufacturing variances, standards setting, inventory revaluation, and annual physical inventory.
• Review and analyze monthly results; identify trends, develop corrective options, and implement countermeasures.
• Assist the Controller with monthly financial forecast process, the development of annual budgets and strategic plans, and with various financial analysis projects as required.
• Partner on SOX compliance.
• Participate on the planning and migration to new ERP software.

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CPA or MBA a plus |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
BS required; CPA or MBA a plus. Seek 3+ years of CPA or manufacturing accounting experience. Must have a history of promotion and adding value. Pluses are experience with large CPA firm or world class manufacturer; integrated systems (i.e. SAP, BPICS, MAPICS, JDE); product P/L; and/or kaizen events. Seek a results driven personality with upside who wants to learn, grow, and contribute. |
