OPPORTUNITY: Report to Credit Manager and interface with 400+ retail distribution centers throughout the East Coast. Be have responsible for:
• Perform property checks, trade references and bank references for potential new accounts. Run personal credit reports and/or D&B reports.
• Analyze personal and or corporate financial statements for new and existing customers.
• Analyze credit history to determine credit limits for new and existing customers
• Audit and update all customer credit files.
• Written correspondence with accounts to maintain up-to-date financial information.
• Provide alerts and recommendations to Credit Manager based on credit file updates and analyses.
• Monitor expiry of Letters of Credit and take appropriate action as to renewal requests or adjusting the line of credit.
• Review Aged Trial Balance to identify and resolve delinquency, skipped payments, shortages, misapplied payments, NSF checks and drafts, etc.
• Interact with Sales, Dispatch, Billing, and Cash Application Departments.
• Monitor credit lines.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
BS ideal; AS acceptable. Seek 2+ years of credit and collections experience within a manufacturing, distribution or B2B setting. Any experience with JDEdwards, Oracle or SAP is a plus. |
