| Position Responsibilities: |
Fortune 500 company is expanding its technical accounting team!! Those groomed by the BIG 4 or a quality Fortune 500 company is best suited. Be a contributor to the Controller/CFO’s team. Participate on a wide array of special projects: due diligence of acquisitions, ad hoc reports, impact of changes in business (i.e. movement of business, acquisitions, joint ventures), and so on. As part of the team, make a difference and groom for Assistant Corporate Controller role. Strong history of developing and promoting high achievers.
OPPORTUNITY: Work interactively with senior management of accounting, financial planning and analysis, legal, tax and treasury. Serve as right hand contributor to the Financial Reporting leader. Support multiple business segments and the research needs of technical accounting issues and implement ensuring compliance with company and GAAP guidelines. Obtain, validate and review information provided to external resources to be used in external valuations. Ensure all legal entity Controllers are accurately recording information and are updated on any new accounting requirements. Primary Corporate contact with regard to these items. Work with external advisors and internal staff to interpret new FASB pronouncements, SEC rulings and GAAP pronouncements. Directs resolution of all accounting issues and responsible for ensuring proper documentation of all accounting issues, related matters and application of related controls. Significant involvement in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes. Assist in review of 10K and 10Q. Support internal control initiatives and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements as well as external and internal audit activities. Support special projects as necessary. Interface with all levels of management and learn the business. Seeking someone with a process excellence approach who can assist with ways in which processes can be enhanced from an accuracy, timeliness and data perspective.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
BS in Accounting, CPA (Big 4/6/8 trained) wanted or MBA desired. Ideal candidate will be current CPA/Senior, Supervisor or Manager with SEC clients or in a publicly traded corporation preferably with over $800M in revenues. Must be perceived as a self-starter and team player with upside potential. Knowledge of fully integrated software package (i.e. Hyperion, PeopleSoft, Lawson, Oracle, JD Edwards or SAP) experience is a plus. |
