Job Title: Vice President, Lead Recruiter -New York

Reports To: Senior Vice President, Director of National Recruiting

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for developing and promoting recruiting programs to hire new branch managers as well as new representatives for existing offices. Manages all aspects of recruiting registered representatives to the firm:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prospects and qualifies potential Manager quality recruits.
Develops a process for prospecting, developing, and closing MEs/Registered Reps.
Evaluates potential MEs practices.
Reviews NASD and credit history of prospects.
Travels to potential MEs offices for on-site meetings.
Responsible for regional budget
Answers prospective recruits questions and concerns regarding the company.
May manage Junior Recruiter and the internal recruiting associate
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises Junior Recruiters, and/or internal recruiting associates. Trains, coaches, and develops subordinates. Reviews proposed plans for adequacy and consistency with corporate objectives. Delegates activities to ensure that objectives are met in a timely fashion. Develops milestones, due dates, and responsibilities for projects, plans, and activities. Sells, influences, and represents the organization to the public and to potential representatives. Maintains good working relationships.

Bachelors |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
7 plus years previous sales experience in the financial services industry required.
Securities registration licenses Series 7 and 24 preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with potential Registered Representatives regarding production, advertising, compliance issues, technology, software programs, expenses, and credit reports.
Ability to read and interpret regulations, credit reports, CRD licensing and compliance reports, promissory notes, and business production.
Ability to determine the breakdown of the Representatives' business and production.
Ability to analyze and interpret production and compliance information, and solve problems relating to credit and licensing issues.
Strong focus on customer service, flexibility, attention to detail, good organizational skills, ability to prioritize, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a multi-task environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and company web site.
This position also requires travel to visit branch offices throughout the United States throughout the year.
