| Position Responsibilities: |
Management opportunity in Austin, Texas with an organization based in New York City, with additional offices in San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Washington, DC, Sydney, Shanghai, Hong Kong and London.
This company provides systems to manage expert networks. Its services and web-based software help the world's leading financial services firms, consultancies, corporations and nonprofits find, engage, and manage their proprietary expert networks.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
**Reponsible for the overall development, service, and marketing of the organization. Central member of the team and will recruit, manage and deploy experts in the organization. He or she will work closely with the management Team in Austin, and our Analysts in Delhi, London and Shanghai, and will interact with client-facing Research Managers in New York, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, London and Hong Kong.
**Recruit new Members into the Council and (1) Interact with Managers to gauge client research needs; (2)Identify experts (CFOs, former top regulatory body officials, partners from the world’s leading accounting firms, academics, forensic accountants, and other financial executives) with pertinent insights for clients; (3)Develop personal relationships with key industry executives, influencers and thought leaders, while engaging them in productive research activities; (4)Develop the Councils through telephone, email and marketing campaigns; (5)Manage partnerships with global associations and professional-service firms. **Manage and organize the global membership of the Council, using proprietary technology: (1)Maintain a deep understanding of the practice to leverage the Councils effectively; (2)
Apply knowledge of the practice, emerging trends and client activity, identify strategic population needs for clients; (3)Educate internal staff about trends; (4)Work closely with Council Management teams and Research Management teams globally to facilitate ongoing development and effective deployment of the Council.
*** Contribute to the development and continued evolution of interactive product portfolio, including: (1)Regular small-group meetings between clients and Council Members; (2)Education Seminars; (3) Domestic and international research trips to relevant regions; (4)Proprietary Surveys; (5) Organization News; (6)
Phone Consultations.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Preliminary criteria for the position include: *Undergraduate degree from top-tier school plus three years plus of professional work experience; *Demonstrated interest in and exposure to accounting & financial issues; * Outstanding writing, communication, and presentation abilities;* Superior organizational and people skills;
*Ability to work in a rigorous, fast-moving work environment; *

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Expereince and interest in accounting and finance issues prior experience working in or assocaited with a related entity in the accounting or financial field such as a CPA or professional service firm, finanical institution, investment house or service provider to the finaical industry. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
Need to be able to relate to CFO's, partners in accounting firms and professors of Finance and accounting and have an understanding of the accounting concepts and topics that will be requested and provided at various events. |
