| Position Responsibilities: |
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Completes and/or leads multiple concurrent audit projects of increasing complexity across multiple lines of business; assess and determine engagement notifications, task assignment, project pacing, risks and controls; provide interim performance evaluations• Provides guidance and on-the-job training to newer audit staff to increase proficiency
• Drafts findings, impact statements and final audit reports to audit management staff
• Works directly with business unit mid-level management in conducting audit reviews
• Accurately assesses risk and controls, and develops effective test plans
• Participates in business monitoring and information gathering in support of the Enterprise Risk assessment and annual planning
• Participates in peer reviews, using knowledge and understanding of audit processes
• Supports department’s external quality assessment reviews
QUALIFICATIONS: Solid knowledge of:
• Audit and risk assessment principles, practices and methodologies
• Accounting and finance principles and practices
• Operational and technical environments of banking businesses
• Body of regulations and laws that apply to the banking and finance business
• Audit policies that govern objectivity and independence
• PMLC/SDLC management methods, and assessing the adequacy of requirements, security plans, data conversion and test plans
• IT general controls, application controls and end-user computing controls and corresponding risks
Proficient and relatively independent in one or more of the following areas
• Operating systems (OS/390, Windows, midrange or Unix/Linux) related subsystems, databases and security (e.g. Oracle, SQL, DB2, CICS, CA-7, CA-11, Channel Secure, Active Directory, External Security Management systems, etc)
• Network Architecture and web server environments (firewalls, protocols, network devices, WebSphere, etc)
• Application architecture
Skill requirements:
• Ability to effectively organize and lead audit teams: lead more complex audit projects; complete audit projects in multiple business units; contribute to the advancement of and provide direction to staff; conduct formal performance reviews; promote on-going relationships with client and peers
• Ability to assess the adequacy of project requirements, security plans, data conversion and test plans, and
• Ability to use technical infrastructure to interrogate system controls, key sub-systems or tools.
• Conduct business with confidence and in a professional manner; lead meetings with clients; apply professional skepticism; avoid actual, or the appearance of, conflict of interest in dealing with clients.
• Demonstrate a broad base of financial, operational, technical and regulatory knowledge.
• Understand and provide support for the Audit objectives and provide constructive ways to improve existing practices.
• Contribute to positive working environment through making sound business decisions, constructive problem-solving, effective communications and mutual respect• Strong written and oral communications skills

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, • Professional certification as a CPA, CIA, or CISA is highly preferred, and will be required within |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of IT Audit leadership and technical related experience, 5+ years highly preferred
• Professional certification as a CPA, CIA, or CISA is highly preferred, and will be required within 18 months of hire.
