| Position Responsibilities: |
Responsible for accounting functions for one or more contracts under companies Strategic Business Units (SBUs) for quality, integrity and affordability. |

Bachelors |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Perform many of the following responsibilities:
A.Responsible for the SBUs accounts’ contracts invoices are accurate and reconciled for monthly payment.
B.Responsible for the follow-up on accounts receivable for the SBU.
C.Close monthly by analyzing account and preparing closing and adjusting journal entries.
D.Responsible as the lead for one to three accounting employees.
E.Point of contract for site and customer support for Financial Management organization.
F.Contact point for obtaining information for the Defense Contract Auditing Agency (DCAA) audits or documentation required.
G.Provide guidance and information to SBU Manager and assist in responding to Corporate, DCAA, and other outside entities requiring financial data.
H.Audit SBU and prepare reports on the status of the contract.
I.Conduct studies and submits recommendations for improving the organization’s accounting operation.
JServe as a consultant or implement accounting functions during phase-in of a new contract.
K.Develop and/or modify major policies and procedures for financial reporting and cost analysis in specialized area.
L.Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline.
Experience Required:
Six (6) years experience in general accounting. Prefer at least two (2) years in government contract accounting experience.
Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
A.Knowledge of accounting that includes spreadsheets and relational data bases program for data processing techniques.
B.Excellent communication and people skills.
C.Knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
D.Knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred.
