| Position Responsibilities: |
Private Equity Specialist with over $3Billion under management is seeking an Assistant Controller in their Charlotte, NC office. This is a new position resulting from continued growth in assets under management reporting to the Vice President and Corporate Controller.
Annually:
• Certified Audits – annual requirement of top-tier investment holding companies and mid-tier investment management companies.
• Taxes – responsibility to provide information and coordinate preparation with outside CPA firm
• Budget/Forecasting – Complex rolling 5 year financial and cash flow forecasting and budgeting
Quarterly
• Consolidating and consolidated financials for top-tier Investment Holding Companies including cash flows and detailed investment performance analysis.
• Rolling financial and cash flow projections.
Monthly
• Financial reporting for management companies at all levels.
Daily
• Acting as controller for mid-tier businesses.
• Frequent involvement with business managers including Corporate Analyst Group; due diligence, sensitivity analysis, complex forecasting models including IRR calculations and developing dynamic performance metrics and reporting.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
If you are currently a controller or want to step into that roll but do not want the burden of managing a staff, then this is an ideal position. The Corporate Finance Group supports the Partners, Senior Executive Group and the various Business Managers.
The organization at the corporate level is flat, so strong interpersonal and communications skills are vital.
We need independent thinkers that are creative, self confident and have strong accounting skills, both theoretical and practical. Public Accounting experience is vital.
Lastly, if you are not an expert in Excel, this job not for you. You will be required to submit examples of your work.
6-12 years total experience in public and private accounting. Real Estate industry experience preferred but other backgrounds will be considered.
