| Position Responsibilities: |
An industry leading education services company seeks an Executive Director of Finance to play a critical role in achieving division growth and ensuring optimum ROI. In this dynamic and challenging position, you will lead all financial responsibilities for the division including ensuring financial statements are in accordance with GAAP, budgeting, long-range planning, forecasting, reporting, business plan development, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, identification of opportunities and risks, and contingency planning. The ideal candidate will be a creative, decision maker who can play both strategic and hands-on roles simultaneously and have experience in integrating financial operations and systems resulting from mergers, acquisitions and divestiture activities. The ideal candidate must also be assertive, self-directed, innovative and driven by details and deadlines. This position reports to the General Manager/Vice President
Position Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with GAAP
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley
• Enhance financial analysis and reporting
• Ensure security of physical and intellectual property
• Forecasting and planning
• Budgeting
• Supervise the Senior Accountant and interact with corporate accounting
• Identification of risks and opportunities for growth
• Evaluating potential acquisition opportunities
• Preparing and evaluating business plans and investment opportunities for ROI
• Ensure comprehensive financial measures
• Resource allocation and investment planning
• Development of cost reduction and cost management initiatives
• Reporting of actual results, forecasts and budgets
• Ad-hoc reporting of business performance
• P/L and balance sheet analysis

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CPA Preferred |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred, Masters preferred
• 5-10 years progressive accounting/finance experience, including strong operating unit experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and its application to business issues

• Demonstrated project management skills in a deadline driven environment. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail. Ability to organize and work with large amounts of complex information, managing multiple project priorities.
• Outgoing personality and ability to establish rapport and work efficiently with all team members serving various functions at various levels.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to present analysis and findings in both verbal and written formats to all levels of management and size of group
• High degree of maturity, diplomacy and professionalism. Self-starter and independent thinker who has the desire to work in a fast-paced organization.
