| Position Responsibilities: |
Our client, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is currently searching for a dynamic accounting professional to join their Investment Management Division in a Sr Financial Analyst role. This position will serve as an integral part of the Investment Reporting Group and will report directly to a Finance Manager within the department.
Key Responsibilities Include:
*Prepare and interpret management information for the company's different operating divisions, as it relates to investment income
*Analyze financial results, investigate transactions, and provide reporting and recommendations which promote new ideas or business solutions intended to improve processes
*Design and implement processes, including databases, to support financial analysis functions
*Improve business unit customer satisfaction, providing explanations of income and budget variance analysis, and effective use of technology (and business units' access to relevant technology)
*Work on projects to support key investment division initiative

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CMA, CPA, MBA preferred |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
*Must be highly proficient with Excel
*Ability to create reports using Business Objects or similar database query tool.
*Must demonstrate superior communication, organizational and analytical skills |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
*5+ years experience in an Accounting (Management or Public) or Financial Analysis role strongly desired
