| Position Responsibilities: |
*Obtaining prices via automated vendor feeds, brokers and other approved valuation sources and methods
*Researching, analyzing and coming to a resolution of price variances
*Maintaining a productive relationship with pricing vendors to ensure timely receipt of accurate prices
*Maintaining the pricing waterfalls
*Assisting in the development, implementation and ensure adherence to new valuation policies and appropriate pricing procedures
*Assisting with the research, design, building and testing of valuation model output to determine reasonableness
*Enhancing data quality processes, manage pricing challenges and researching/resolving issues.
*Supporting compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley by Identifying risks, implementing effective controls and maintaining evidence of controls in an effective manner
*Providing project management support for large, complex projects - defining deliverables, setting schedules, and producing results w/ strong communication and negotiation skills. |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CFA/MBA designation strongly preferred |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
*Prospective candidates must demonstrate excellent statistical, mathematical modeling skills as well as possess a working knowledge of quantitative tools and valuation techniques for multiple asset classes including US and global fixed income and equity instruments
*Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, and Excel), VBA and be able to learn new systems and software quickly
*Prospective candidates must possess an excellent understanding of investment and finance concepts |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
*Minimum of 5 years experience in the financial industry (portfolio management, trading, risk management or market data) strongly preferred
*CFA/MBA designation strongly preferred |
