Salary Range: 100,000 - 150,000
Total Compensation: 150,000 - 200,000
Job Description: Our client is a well-established financial services firm in Florida with a niche market in the medical arena. They market asset protection plans and financial services to physicians all over the state of Florida and do so with the endorsement of a major association. Our client is looking for a Managing Director for this firm to be a part of the senior management team. We are looking for someone who can take the lead in developing the sales and marketing of this company’s financial services programs. Responsibilities will include recruiting, training and hiring of financial advisors, the development and rollout of corporate marketing programs, and the overall business development efforts of the firm. This person will also be involved in the continued development of the long term strategic plan. The person we are seeking has a successful track record in the financial services industry as a producer and a manager. A CURRENT BOOK OF BUSINESS IS MANDATORY. S/He must have a strong entrepreneurial bent and want to be involved in the growth of a significant business. Contacts within the state of Florida and/or previous exposure to the medical community are both pluses. Industry designations such as CPA, CFP, CLU, CHFC, or CFA are also pluses. This position is located in the greater Jacksonville area and relocation to that area within a reasonable period of time, if not already there, will be required. Education and Certifications/Licenses: University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree, Certified/Chartered Financial Planner, FINRA Registered Rep - Series 7 - Stock Broker|FINRA Registered Principal - Series 24
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: -Management experience -Training/Recruiting -Series 7, 24 -Sales Management -Preferably with a transferrable Book of Business.
