| Job Description: |
? Coordinate/ review tax accounting for foreign subsidiaries and branches.
? Prepare and document international portions of the U.S. Federal income tax return including U.S. Information Returns (Form 5471 & Form 8858) and Foreign Tax Credit (Form 1118).
? Prepare annual updates of the E&P and tax basis for foreign subsidiaries and branches.
? Tax planning to minimize foreign taxes.
? Monitor the status of Americas income tax filings and audits.
? Involvement in Americas merger and acquisition activity.
? Coordinate both local country and US corporate transfer pricing documentation and analysis for the Americas businesses.
? Work with Group Tax in ensuring a global coordinated effort on global tax issues.
? Coordinate the international aspects of U.S. audits and foreign tax audits.
? Maintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls and procedures

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
? Minimum 10+ years public / private full-time experience, preferably in the financial service industry.
? BS/BA in Accounting and/or Economics required
? Strong understanding of tax accounting principles, including US GAAP.
? Thorough understanding of transfer pricing principles.
? Understanding of international tax issues with a strong focus on Canada and Latin America
? Experience with tax audits and tax authority inquiries.
? Advanced business or law degree required.
