Our client in the Grand Rapids, MI area is looking to hire a Chief Financial Analyst.
The Chief Financial Analyst is responsible for providing analytical financial support for the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis organization. The Chief Financial Analyst will work closely with the CFO to provide financial modeling, benchmarking, and other ad hoc analysis. The Chief Financial Analyst will also lead the global financial projection process, scenario planning, and target setting as well as analyzing financial performance and identifying opportunities to optimize performance.
Best fit for the position is somone with a big 4 background for 2-3 years and then 3-4 years experience as a Financial Analyst for a manufacturing company doing financial modeling etc.
Ideal candidate will be a senior analyst or a lead analyst. Person will be on a fast track into a management role.

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business and 8+ years of demonstrated professional experience. Candidates should possess strategic and critical thinking skills and must be a skilled analyst with excellent communication skills. Other Requirements -Strategic, critical thinking skills: the ability to see beyond the task at hand.

-Excellent communication skills: the ability to clearly communicate financial information to support business decisions. Preferences CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
