Upbeat, fast paced culture and leadership team! Seeking an aspiring leader to provide innovation and improved accounting and strategic business processes to this growing global consumer business. Exciting new products continually being introduced to the market to grow their market share. With a history of profitability, expansion, and new product introduction for this ambitious global consumer products leader we seek to continue that trend! Products are marketed through Europe, Far East, and the Americas.
OPPORTUNITY: Roll up your sleeves and partner with the President, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Manufacturing leaders to drive and support WW business strategies for a division with $65M+ in revenues. Focus on day to day accounting as well as business strategies and planning supporting global growth, measure level of financial and operational success. This is an invigorating environment that requires strong financial reporting, analysis, and planning skills plus an understanding of product P/L. Provide financial consciousness to promotion and event planning, margin attainment, new product introductions, and market channel expansion. Review and analyze key performance indicators and enhance variance reporting by country, product family and market channel. Create reports, scorecard, and commentary on business metrics, results, and forecasts for presentation. Evaluate and analyze price, volume, mix, exchange, spending. Develop analysis and commentary of Balance Sheet and P &L. understanding of currency, consolidations, tax/transfer pricing. Enhance existing systems and financial controls; develop annual budget and strategic plan; contribute on vendor and customer negotiations; and develop business metrics (KPIs) that are real time and insightful. Supervise small team and have a front seat in a business with a lot of upside potential.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Must Live in Connecticut or will be disqualified! CPA or MBA desired. BS/BA Accounting or Finance. Key is extensive hands-on accounting, finance and controlling experience gained in a $100M+ world class global manufacturing/distribution business environment. Must have 8-15 years of business experience most recently in a consumer product or service targeted through retail and/or internet marketing channels within a manufacturing business. Value-added financial leader with a “can do” upbeat attitude. Seeking hands-on experience with Hyperion, Cognos, SAP, Oracle, or JDEdwards. |
