Job Description:

The Analyst will be responsible for preparation of federal, state and local income and franchise tax returns and other reports. The successful candidate will timely and accurately prepare assigned returns/reports and inputs into the current and deferred tax provisions. This person will possess excellent analytical and written/oral communications skills and a working knowledge of tax and general office software programs, such as CorpTax and Microsoft Office. • Prepare separate and consolidated federal corporate income tax returns and partnership returns. • Prepare separate company and combined/unitary corporate, partnership, LLC and other disregarded entity state and local income and franchise tax returns and other reports. • Analyze financial statement and other source data for potential tax adjustments. • Assist other tax department personnel with federal and state tax inquiries and other special projects as assigned

Education and Certifications/Licenses:

Bachelors, None, None

Mandatory Minimum Qualifications:

• BS or BBA with major in Accounting • Minimum 2 years experience preparing federal and state corporate, partnership, LLC, and other tax returns and reports. • Working knowledge of Corptax or equivalent tax compliance software. • Competence with RIA or equivalent tax research tool. • Competence with general office software programs, such as Microsoft Office. • Analytical, detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks • Strong oral and written communications skills. • Prefer Masters in Taxation • Prefer Certified Public Accountant, or CPA Candidate • Experience with CorpTax, TaxStream, and tax provision work preferred
