| Job Description: |
Provide high quality professional day-to-day execution of internal audit engagements and special projectsPerform in-charge responsibilities independently for designated audits including planning, testing, work paper documentation, and reporting of results.Make oral or written presentations to management during and at conclusion of testing, discussing noted deficiencies and recommending corrective action.Participate in appraising adequacy of corrective actions taken by operating management to improve the reported deficient conditions.Coordinate and execute the Sarbanes-Oxley 404 management testing and assist with maintaining the entity wide documentation and testing repository.Conduct an ongoing risk assessment with the input of management to ensure that Sarbanes documentation including narratives, flowcharts and risk matrices are complete and accurate. All documentation will be reviewed with departmental management.Effectively monitor the performance of self and subordinates to ensure plans, schedules, and budgets are met.Lead special projects or audits as assigned.Contribute ideas and opinions in a dynamic team environment.Position requires flexibility to work in multiple locations (CT and NY) and ability to travel both domestically and internationally (10% to 25%) |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Preferably four to eight years experience in financial auditing and/or reinsurance operations Knowledge of the Sarbanes Oxley Act Knowledge of property/casualty insurance and/or reinsurance operations is preferred Strong oral, written and analytical skills A 'team player' who will encourage the open exchange of ideas. Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred CPA or CIA a plus |
